FEBRUARY 23, 2012: A few days back, Sri Akal Takhat Sahib, Amritsar issued a statement to support the Sikh Environment Day. Singh Sahib Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji has called the Sikhs to reduce the use of plastics in Gurdwaras, homes and elsewhere. He has also asked that all Sikhs should celebrate this Gurpurab by cleaning their homes, surroundings and parks. Click to read full message in Punjabi and translation in English
