Plantation of Guru Nanak Sacred Forest happened at Yamuna Nagar, Haryana
600 ਰੁੱਖ ਉਹ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਚੋਂ ਅਲੋਪ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। 35 ਕਿਸਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਰੁੱਖ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਚ ਲਗਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। 400 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਜੰਗਲ ਈਕੋਸਿੱਖ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਾਏ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਵੱਧ ਰਹੇ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਰੋਕਣ ਦਾ ਇਹੀ ਹੱਲ ਹੈ। ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੋਕ, ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਚ ਬੱਚੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਸਭ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਹਵਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜੁਟੇ
600 trees of native species of Haryana have been planted at the site with the help of volunteers and workers from the village. Many of these trees have disappeared from Haryana but they are being preserved in these sacred forests. Over 400 such forests have been planted.
