Guru Nanak Sacred Forest was planted at Guru Kashi Gurmat Institute, Bathinda

1650 trees of native species of Punjab have been planted at the site with the help of volunteers and workers from the village. Many of these trees have disappeared from Punjab but they are being preserved in these sacred forests. Over 400 such forests have been planted.
We are grateful to Sdn. Simran Kaur and S. Surinder Singh (UK) for this noble initiative.
We are also grateful to Sdn. Harinder Kaur donated 550 saplings in the loving memory of her late son Ishneet Singh Kapoor.
