EcoSikh Welcomes Sumeet Kaur, Program Manager

Washington DC — EcoSikh is proud to introduce Sumeet Kaur as Program Manager of EcoSikh North America. Sumeet is recent graduate of the George Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations. She is a strong advocate of human rights, especially in the field of environmental development. Her academic and personal life has been heavily focused on environmental preservation and community outreach, especially within the Sikh community.
As president of the GW Sikh Student Association, Sumeet promoted Sikhism awareness at GWU and in the D.C. area by hosting lectures and performing sewa at local Gurdwaras. As program manager for EcoSikh, she hopes to bring her community outreach and organizing skills to engage the sangat and enrich their connection to Sikhi and the environment.
