EcoSikh Welcomes Paramjeet Kaur, Program Administrator
It gives us great pleasure to announce the appointment of Paramjeet Kaur as Program Administrator of EcoSikh in North America. Paramjeet recently graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology from George Mason University in Virginia. She is a strong advocate for environmental awareness and preservation, and has an interest in healthcare. Most recently, Paramjeet served as President, Sikh Student Association at George Mason University where she has planned and implemented several community outreach events on campus, local Gurdwaras, and at local healthcare centers to provide members with diverse programs and experiences to enrich their connection with Sikhi. I also want to take this opportunity to acknowledge Bandana Kaur for her outstanding contributions to EcoSikh as Program Manager. EcoSikh is what it is today in large part due to the tireless efforts and outreach programs installed by her. Bandana is a dedicated professional with high standards of integrity and excellence. She has been instrumental in developing the EcoSikh website, planning and implementing outreach programs while fully leveraging all digital and social networking channels, and above all making Sikh Environment Day a success for the past two years. Bandana is a passionate individual, with a deep connection and commitment to Sikh values and the environment. EcoSikh sincerely acknowledges Bandana for her contributions to date, and is equally excited about our continuing association where Bandana will serve as EcoSikh Ambassador, Special Initiatives for North America. As part of this role, Bandana will partake in fundraising activities plan and implement outreach programs and continue to be a thought leader and inspirationalist in the EcoSikh movement.
