EcoSikh Job in Ludhiana -Web Developer

EcoSikh Charitable Society is currently seeking to fill the position of a full- time Web Developer based in the Ludhiana area. The incumbent will be a motivated self-starter who has commitment to the environment, and is able to utilize the knowledge of Sikh teachings and principles to inspire, motivate and work for sustainability projects. The candidate is expected to have excellent communication in both verbal and written in English and Punjabi.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate adequate technical skills in the field of web development and IT products deployment & maintenance.

Location: Ludhiana, Punjab
Dated: 31 March, 2022
Contract period:  1 Year – Full Time

Monthly salary will be determined based on capability, skills and experience.

Key responsibilities may include:

1. Maintain and regularly update EcoSikh’s websites:
   1. Publish Posts and Pages
   2. Make necessary updates as and when required in site design and functionality
2. Manage hosting and domain accounts
3. Create, Deploy and maintain Web Applications for the organisation
4. Create, deploy and maintain mobile apps (Hybrid mobile apps)
5. Work in conjunction with media team and campaign managers to run social media campaigns
6. Run Google ad campaigns using landing pages
7. Handle technical execution during webinars and online meetings.
8. Digital Marketing and online brand building
9. Handle webform queries
10. Running online fund-raising campaigns
11. Prepare reports, proposals, presentations and other documents pertaining to work.
12. Ability to manage multiple tasks, work within tight deadlines, and maintain high level of productivity.
13. Openness to work on occasional evenings and weekends to meet events and project deadlines.

Chief Requirements

1. Adequate experience and portfolio in the following technologies:
   1. Front end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery
   2. Backend: PHP (Procedural paradigm preferred)
   3. DBMS: MySql
   4. Hosting: Cpanel (shared hosting), VPN
   5. Frameworks/CMS: WordPress (compulsory), React Native or Apache PhoneGap or Ionic
   6. Payment Gateways: PayPal (compulsory), PayTm (compulsory), stripe or others
   7. MS office suite – MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel
   8. Zoom
   9. Google ads
   10. Adobe Photoshop
   11. SEO, SMO, SMM
2. The candidate must carry their own laptop suitable for carrying out above stated responsibilities
